Living a life of simplicity sounds simple but it’s far from it, I realize that. I hung a sign in my kitchen that reads, “Simplify Your Life”. Although I see this sign several times a day, multiplied by for at least 5 years, I am still on the journey of simplifying my life a little bit at a time, one step at a time.
For me simplifying has required releasing the need to say yes to every demand placed on me, reducing the number of things I choose to put on my plate, letting go of stuff I don’t need anymore, whether in my closet, my business or even my health. I have to consciously choose every day to pause, breathe and live life in a way that flows with ease and abundance.
