“What do you pack to pursue a dream? What do you leave behind?” – Sandra Sharpe
If you were to pack your bags to set out on the best and most anticipated journey EVER of your life – how would you pack? Bear in mind that this journey would lead you to that future where you are living your true, authentic life, living from the core of who you are.
Would you pack the old, unwanted thoughts, emotions, and memories? Would you bring co-travelers along with you on this pious trip that didn’t align with your vision of the authentic you? Would you carry anything at all that didn’t serve the highest good of making this, the most anticipated and BEST journey ever?
I’m guessing, you probably wouldn’t. You might consider bringing with you the best of who you are — your truth, authenticity, talents, gifts and passions. Right? You might consider choosing a guide, a co-traveler that gets who you are and lets you be YOU. This makes all the sense in the world.
But how does one get there? How does one discern what serves their highest good and what does not? I think that we know this innately and can sense what serves us or doesn’t. Acting on that inner knowing in our life may come easy to some, but most of us have to work on breaking old patterns and creating new ones – ones that are based in love, not fear.
Having been on this path personally for 21 years now and helping others on this journey of healing, personal transformation, and spiritual growth, I have learned one thing for sure. There is no one answer for everyone. We are all experiencing uniquely different seasons of our life. And your answer can only come from one place and one place alone – YOU.
In this moment, I am really present to why I started the I AM Retreats. These retreats exist because I know how important it is to be in a safe and sacred space to get present to who you are, to release past memories, thoughts and emotions that are holding you back from your highest good. In this space you are are gently guided to get quiet in body and mind so that you may listen more intently to your inner voice – your true voice – and begin the process of healing and creation in your life. You then begin to manifest the life you were purposed for, the life you were meant to live.
I believe that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that light is within you. And you have it in you to connect with that light.
When you Live Your Light you allow your true and authentic self to emerge in this life. You get to see that anything is possible. The future is waiting with open arms. Let’s meet it with love, compassion and gratitude in our hearts.
Sacred Affirmations for this moment:
I release the burdens of my past and travel light on my journey
I am free of self-negating thoughts and memories
I fully forgive and complete with the people from my past
I am ready to Live My Light!!
